Jesus Brother James the Just had it right.

“What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can such faith save him? …You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only…? For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.” (James 2:14, 24, 26)

  1. Amen! James was right indeed. James was also right when he was inspired by The Holy Spirit and wrote the first verse of the Book of James, where he calls himself a servant of the Lord Jesus.

Do you know that the demons have faith in God? What kind of faith though? Certainly not Genuine Saving Faith. The demons know that God is God. They strongly believe that, and tremble in fear at the very thought [James 2:19].

Genuine Saving Faith in a Christian will produce good works. James admonishes Christians to live up to this Holy Calling and bear the fruit of good works. As for being justified by works, Jesus put it best in Matthew 5:16.

Keep the interesting posts coming :)

    Shalom!
