Christian Logic

Christian Logic - Good deeds do not get you to heaven, only accepting Jesus as your savior and bringing him in your heart will save you...So I can be a mass murderer or a racist prick, and still go to heaven as long as Jesus is in my heart, and according to these Christians, that is Justice. They claim anything else than this is buying our way to heaven.

  1. If you are some kind of extreme sinner it's clear that you don't care at all for Christ.

  2. Your blog is only part true. It is true that no deeds can get you into heaven. It is true that sin is sin an they are equal, in some respects. Mass murdering a group of people is worse then looking at porn, however they are both sin and each leads to the same death. In that way they are equal. Choosing against God is choosing against Him, no matter if it is just a bit or alot.
Now, you know that no man is perfect. Sin is deserving of punishment, good deeds are deserving of reward. We have done both good and bad. So what should we receive? Reward or punishment? Should we be rewarded for our good deeds, or punished for our bad? Is it not right to punish a criminal for his one crime, no matter lawfully he lived his life before? If you follow the law your hole life, and then steal one car, should you not be punished?
We are all sinners, and we are all criminals who are constantly going against God. This active rebellion against the Sustainer of life results in death. For if God is light, and we choose darkness, how can we live in the light? If God is life, and we choose against Him, how can we have any life in us? No, we are dead in our sins. Criminals who are to be justly punished by a Righteous and Holy God for our acts of crime against Him.
But take heart! There is a way! Jesus came and died for use to provide us a way to life. He lived a sinless life, he was not deserving of any death or punishment. Yet, he was offered up by God as a sacrifice for atonement. When Jesus died he was not deserving of death, and so when he was resurrected he was raised to eternal life. Any who follow him and accept him and put their faith in him are saved by this, because in having faith and sharing in his death we die also to sin and to the law. If we then died to the law we are no longer bound by the law or the sin that come from the law (for it is by breaking the laws of God that we are made sinners) and also the punishment that come from breaking the law. We are dead to sin, but alive in Christ.
Now because we are no longer bound by the law and grace covers all our sins does this mean that we should keep on sinning? No, not at all. For if you accept Jesus, you accept the Spirit and must live according to it. What Spirit is this? It is of truth, holiness, righteousness. It is not sinful or corrupt, it does not lie or steal or cheat. You are no longer bound by the law, but by the Spirit and must live according to it. If you sin, you are cover by the grace of God the flows freely through Jesus. However, that Day is coming when God will Judge all the people of earth. However, no condemnation will fall on those who have faith in Jesus.

I hope this helps. May God bless you with wisdom and knowledge.
